Japanese Knotweed Solutions Ltd

Accredited Contractor and Consultant Member

Japanese Knotweed Solutions Ltd is the largest and longest-established Japanese knotweed company in the UK, with over twenty years’ experience on projects of all sizes. We are the pre-eminent experts in the field and the first company to recognise the problems with Japanese knotweed. We have the greatest number of successfully-completed Japanese knotweed projects of any UK company. We offer a full variety of services including site assessments, a range of treatment methods and on-going site maintenance. All of our works are carried out by in-house teams, in accordance with the industry Code of Practice. We have offered a unique insurance-backed warranty for half a decade, which can provide cover for up to twenty years.

My experience has been exceptional.....

My experience has been exceptional, the receptionist, surveyor and Director were all very helpful when we thought we might loose the purchase of our property, even though our solicitor dropped it on us that the lender required a new guarantee the day everyone finished for Christmas. They corresponded with me and reassured me even whilst they were on annual leave.

Janet Noon - Private Homeowner

14 years I have been with Jones Homes and they have been the only Specialist we have used....

The Company has worked with Japanese Knotweed Solutions for many years and certainly during the last 14 years I have been with Jones Homes they have been the only Specialist we have used for any Invasive Weed issues. The Company has always provided us with a prompt service with good communication and appropriate advice for the removal of any invasive weeds.

We have had schemes which have ranged from very small stands of knotweed to very large areas with costs ranging from a few thousand to over one hundred thousand. All our works are planned in advance as our programmes are considered during our purchase of development sites and as such the programming of the works with JKSL has never been an issue. If an emergency does arise they have been very responsive and have often reviewed the issue and provided advice within 24-48 hours.

In terms of budgets and keeping to them, again I can confirm that we have had no issues in this respect. The Health and Safety on our sites is of paramount importance to our Company. JKSL have worked for a significant number of years with Jones Homes and I cannot recall any safety issues to date. They submit all their Risk Assessments Method Statements etc in advance of the commencement of any works for review by our Group H&S Manager without issue.

They have also provided assistance with advice and reports for mortgage applications where the surveyors have highlighted the former presence of knotweed which has allowed purchasers to obtain mortgages. We always allow for a 5 year monitoring period for any regrowth which JKSL use to continue after the sale of properties with no issues.

Chris Lord - Jones Homes Ltd

The team are good, professional and work to high H&S standards...

I have used JKW solutions on many occasions (large and small projects). I find them extremely proactive with a can-do attitude. The team are good, professional and work to high H&S standards. I find them not the very cheapest but I do find them extremely compliant and offer good value for money, especially when it comes to the after treatment, monitoring and warranties.
