James Sherwood-Rogers said, “I am delighted to be taking up the role as Chairman of INNSA at a time when the remediation of invasive species is becoming an ever greater issue for all property owners. With the legal obligation that property owners now have to clear invasive species from their land and gardens the role of INNSA in setting the industry quality standards is vitally important. I look forward to working with the INNSA Board in promoting the Invasives Code of Practice and in helping to recruit all quality Invasives remediation businesses into INNSA membership.”
MIke Clough commented, “as INNSA has grown from a small group of responsible remediators into the setter of standards for the Invasives industry it is time that an Independent Chairman is appointed to take the Association forward. I am delighted that we have been able to attract someone of the calibre of James to take on the role of Chairman and I am looking forward to working with him as we take INNSA to the next level.”
James Sherwood Rogers added, “I would like to recognise the vision and determination that Mike has shown in the creation and development of INNSA and his immense contribution in making the Association the recognised specialist trade body for the remediation industry.”
Sherwood Rogers was the Chief Executive of Landmark for many years and is currently the Chairman of the Council of Property Search Organisations (CoPSO). He sits on the Land Registry Advisory Council (LRAC), the Environment Agency Data Advisory Group (EADAG) and the Local Land Charges Advisory Group (LLCAG).
