Membership Accreditation Criteria

Members of INNSA hold a range of relevant accreditations, licences and certificates as well as invest in appropriate training for the staff to ensure they all deliver the best services to their clients. They must also sign up to the Invasives Code of Practice. To be awarded Accredited Membership company must be able to demonstrate the following:

Accredited DUAL MEMBERSHIP - Contractor AND CONSULTANTS MUST:

  • Be ISO 9001 and 14001 accredited
  • Be BASIS registered (must include Invasive and Injurious Weeds Course)
  • Hold Amenity Assured Accreditation
  • Operate an appropriate H&S process
  • Hold all relevant insurance provision
  • Ensure all works are signed off by a full or associate member of IEEM or IEMA
  • Demonstrate sound financial planning (please note INNSA and its insurance partners will undertake credit checks as part of the applications process)
  • Be a member of the INNSA Insurance Backed Guarantee Scheme
  • Be committed to continuous investment to staff training and development ensuring they hold the right skills, certificates and capabilities at all times.

Accredited Consultant Member must:

  • Be ISO 9001 and 14001 accredited
  • Hold all relevant insurance provision
  • Ensure all works are signed off by a full or associate member of IEEM or IEMA

Associate Membership

Companies may be awarded Associate Membership on any of the above Membership bands if they don’t meet ALL the membership criteria but are committed to meeting these requirement within a specific time period.  This includes:

  • ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 within 3 years from application.  Companies must still demonstrate they already work within a sound Management Information structure
  • BASIS Registration (Invasive and Injurious Weeds Course) within 12 months
  • Amenity Assured within 12 months

INNSA will work with all Associate members to assist in sourcing appropriate support and training in order to achieve full accreditation within the agreed time frame.
